[Workrave-user] Problem with sound

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me restore sound to Workrave. At some
point I disabled the sounds in Workrave and was happy without them. Then I
thought that maybe it would be nice to make my own sounds and found a wav
file for my micro-break start. But Workrave crashed, And it crashed every
time I tried to add a sound, I tried making it smaller, but it didn't help.
Then I tried copying the my file to one of the existing templates and giving
it the same name as the start of microbreak. I was overwritten and Workrave
didn't crash but it also didn't play my sound. I noticed that even if I
chose the template with my modified sound, Workrave would immediately revert
back to 'Custom' after closing the preferences. So I thought, ok, let's go
back to one of the default ones. I put all original sounds back and chose
the default sound template in the preferences. But the same thing happened -
Workrave switched back to the Custom template after closing preferences.

I decided to uninstall workrave completely and start again. However, I
failed again. Even though I looked with Total commander for all files and
folders called workrave and deleted them, the new installation would open
with all the old settings. Which shows there must be some more hidden files
that store the settings. I tried to find an install log to see where
Workrave puts things in Windows 10, but I wasn't successful. During
installation there's no possibility to see what is being placed where.

I'm not sure if this issue was caused by me or is it because of jumping to
Windows 10 recently. I now cannot use sounds in Workrave. Could you suggest
any solutions? Either to fix the sound problem or to show what needs to be
deleted to remove Workrave completely and install again?

Best Wishes
